Plumbing on an S1 2.8
Discussion
On my s1 2.8 the swirl tank has two narrow outlet pipes just below thepressure cap.
One has connects to the pipe that leads to the plastic overflow but the other just has a couple of inches of pipe and is then plugged.
Is this the same with other Ss or is this meant to connect to somewhere.
Its obviously under pressure as after 5 years of ownership this piece of pipe has split and sprayed water.
There is also a blocked of outlet in the side of the air filter connector but to connect these two together seems daft.
There is a pipe shown in the bible but it is not clear where it goes to.
How is everyone elses connected?

on my car the other small bore pipe from the swirl tank is connected to the top left hand side of the radiator (if this is the one you mean)
Same here.
I did have a replacement radiator many years ago that didnt have the hose connection top left.
I the end I fabricated a connection on the radiator and used the same pipes.
