antiroll bar

Hi all another question for you smart folk

does anyone know what the fixing brakets were off that hold the antiroll bar on as mine have rotted to much for me to fancy re-using them. Also where's the best place to get a full set of bushes for the s1 as I'm doing a body off resto so while I'm there lol.

I have no idea where they were sourced from (don't recall any part numbers or brand stamped on them, so possibly not Ford) but DG sportscars have recently "broken" as S so may well have a good second hand pair?

Have you decided whether to go with Polyurethane or rubber?

Choice and fitting of bushes has been discussed over and over, try a little Forum searching through Google.


Cost and ease of fitting may sway your decision but with so little material, be it rubber or polyurethane, in the bushes I would doubt if any difference will be felt on the road. You will of course have replaced 20+ years old with new of one type or another so quite possibly the car will feel different, plus you may well have replaced other major components at the same time so it will definitely feel different, hopefully better!

Not saying these will fit but they do offer a service to make them for you. you may be able to send off your old ones and get a pr made

Hi guys thanks for the replys car now in garage and work has started on the strip and rebuild. I keep trying to get time to call you alan but something always crops up lol
