Reconditioned seats amazing
Discussion
Just wanted to post a picture and let people no how amazed I was with the results from what can only be described as a magician has done to my s2 seats today.
Paul from leather revive came today after searching long and hard for a decent company to revive some life in to my sad interior of my current restoration project.
This has simply amazed me and I can't recommend him highly enough. I don't normally plug people but it's simply outstanding and was the best £ I have spent so far in this what seems like a never ending project.
He needs some credit I'm sure you will agree.

£400?! I'd be pretty angry if they weren't perfect for that! For those that are after a cheaper solution and/or a colour match, I had excellent results with the Furniture Clinic colourant kit for £70 (£60 for the kit + £10 for the colour match). Took a couple of days of labour, but was worth it.
Show off!! Don't get me wrong, I love my S, but if I was earning over 200k a year, I might have purchased something different!
I'm not knocking good service at all, and from what Ollie says he has done a perfect job, so I wouldn't be angry. I was just trying to point out for those that also enjoy doing a bit of fiddling on their cars they can get some pretty good results for a fraction of the cost and 6 or 8 hours work over a couple of days.

Like a Tamora or a Sag perhaps. You maths is significantly out too.Not showing off. Two days worth of work has a value to me. Eight hours though isn't two days, indeed its not a working day to me.
I love my S(s). Samy is a keeper. Not bothered what [other people think] she's worth.
I was allowing for income tax! I am a fan of Tamoras and Sags but have kinda got the S bug now, so a V8S might be nice. But then so might a bigger boot for the missus!
For the clarification of those thinking of doing their own seats, 8 hours probably isn't far off, but that is 8 hours in the garage working on them; you'd be best to plan on 2 days off and on while you wait for stuff to dry etc (think I put on about 8 thin coats total!).
Either way, it is amazing how resilient leather is and how good seats come up with a bit of work. It certainly felt weird sanding and then painting my seats though!

Not to brag but I went from an S2 to a V8S and now in a Tamora. For me the S2 was great, lovely noise, drove like a go cart, went like the wind. The V8S was just more of the same, even better noise, same handling, went like a faster wind. The Tamora is the logical next step in the evolution for me. Noise not quite so good until you hit 7,500 rpm when it screams at you, handling like you wouldn't believe once set up properly, faster than a cat with something very hot up its nether region. For the clarification of those thinking of doing their own seats, 8 hours probably isn't far off, but that is 8 hours in the garage working on them; you'd be best to plan on 2 days off and on while you wait for stuff to dry etc (think I put on about 8 thin coats total!).

But keeping a Tamora on the road involves many £'s and dealer services to maintain the all important FSH. When I eventually sell it I will happily move to another S, probably an S3. No other TVR hits the spot for me.

With most things in life cheaper solutions normally mean cheaper results. Only the best for my baby
plus a couple of days!! My wife would kill me if i even suggested it;)
