Is that the same size as an original? If so, can you post up the dimensions so we can work out the true capacity please?

Thanks for that. So that gives me a range of approx. 240 miles and a V6 about 360 miles. On Tour I aim to fill up every 220 miles so that all fits.

Not yet Max I'm hoping to have it fitted this weekend all being well and then next week to get it plumbed in with new fuel pipe and clips

Exactly the same size made by Andy Wiltshire from Aluminium and then powder coated for extra protection along with new stainless steel straps and new gasket for the sender unit for what I think was a very reasonable price

Did he fit any baffles in it? I just cannot see any weld marks.

Think Philpott is right, my S1 wont do that to the tank.....especially when trying to keep up with V8's (or Glen)!!!!!

Two baffles were fitted but no internal filter as I decided an in-line filter between the fuel pump and tank was a better option

Thats good, I totally agree with the external filter as well. The one I have from Demon Tweeks is excellent and very easy to check and clean.
