Hi - all, I fitted an aluminium radiator to TopGearTVR a few years ago and have no regrets whatsoever, except perhaps that they are rather expensive.

Has anyone fitted a more economical one to a V8S? from a different vehicle? and had a grand experience? that didn't cost £500 or the best part of inc. VAT?

Don't see why the Subaru STi ally rad wouldn't suffice.

This might fit with a bit of bracket work, and it's free delivery

Lots of others on ebay that would also fit for less than£150

That is the type that I have fitted and detailed in the thread linked above.

As to performance, car will not be ready for the road until spring. Details of testing so far, in the garage, are in the thread. I see no reason why it won't perform just as well as a £450 item and has the added benefit of being self bleeding.thumbup

They work fine in a high performance (from the factory) turbo motor and the heavily modded versions too so, imho, should cope fine with our motors.

I installed one of these in an S1. It was a breeze to put in and worked like a charm. Shipping might be crippling to the UK.
