The add says "All specifications are subject to change without prior notice and subject to errors." So the correct English translation would be "what you have just read is a load of bullcensored and I can't be trusted".

Or as we say "buyer beware". wink

That is a seriously nice car, I've been looking for a V8S for a little while, living in Bispham five minutes walk from the factory, I've always wanted a "local " car, and I think the V8S is the handsomest car they produced.

Unfortunately they are now into low double figures according to DVLA, and as a result prices appear to be rising, I was looking for a car that needs a bit of TLC, but they appear even rarer....guess I'll just have to be patient !

Steve (TGTVR)- Without wishing to pry into your personal car dealings: How does the price/condition at David Gerald compare with the one you have just bought? Merely trying to gauge any difference between private & trade sales

Outside it looks good, but not sure I would pay that sort of money for a car with the engine, engine compartment and chassis in such a grubby looking condition.

Definitely agree with you here. Everything looks great until the photo under the bonnet. Visable bits of the chassis really don't look good, can mainly see dirt and what's probably rust. Hardly any signs of red powdercoat left! If it's like that on the easy bits to see then what's it like in the more akward bits underneath? Mine was similar when bought it but the chassis was a right borror, but then I did want a project car wink

To whoever goes to look at it, Go in with your eyes wide open and a very good look underneath, hopefully on a ramp.

Ps, Philpott, you really want a V8, don't you, their must be a reason we are all suggesting it wink
