Yesterday blew the cobwebs off the S1. When getting out I inadvertently caught the steering wheel and the lock engaged. Current (replacement) key wouldn't release it, neither would the other replacement. (The one original key I had broke) Panic! Managed to release it using the old superglued broken original key. Lesson to self - take old key along when using the S. Has anyone else had this problem?

Phew, you were lucky there Sue, although these Ford locks are not too hard to source. But thanks! angelYou have reminded me to get a new key cut as one of the old ones is getting very worn.

Hmm, sorry can't offer any words of wisdom here, but again it is an acute reminder for me to get another key cut. I only have the one and it is pretty worn, so thanks for the timely warning!
