Hi, I've been absorbing info from here for a bit so thought it's about time I introduced myself, my name is John and I'm married to Gina and between us we have a 3.5 Pajero (245bhp) a Toyota Emina (not a lot bhp)a large caravan(sorry )3 Belgian Shepherds (Tervuerens) and a new arrival a 290S
It requires a fair bit of mainly cosmetic work and could do with a good service as it needs to warm up for a while before driving but ohh that exhaust note
While I'm here does anyone know where to obtain the door window seals ta.
I'm looking forward to attending a few meets through the summer but I work permanent nightshifts so may be limited.
Cheers
John

Hi John, welcome to the "S club".

Door / Window Seals:
The seal that goes along the top rear section of the roof is a common size. available from East Kent (p/n 135) or Woolies (p/n 266).

The long seal that goes around both doors and the screen is a slightly larger size. I think it is East Kent p/n 84. Get them to send a sample before you buy.

Hi, Thanks both, I've put a pic on my profile but it seems to have grown a bit
The main piece of trim I need is the small 'u' shaped bit at the rear of the passenger window, checked Woolies and they don't do it

You also need some new indicator lenses ! they are from a Sherpa van available from www.autofast.co.uk .
Dont forget to buy 'The Bible' available from Steve Heath , his profile is on this site.

Have fun!

Hi Rockey, welcome to TVR S ownership and fun!

I think the rubber that you need is a TVR part but should be easy to make from another rubber trim or sheet.

Just remembered I bought a set of these rubber seals about a year ago, although still not fitted as waiting for new hood!! I ordered the full set from TVR-Power, ask for Andy. They should still have them unless they are an S part only then they might be in the missing container...???

Nice one thats not far at all, we will have to get together for a spin and a chat, will try to arrange a mini meet as there are quite a few around this area. There are some nice roads down there, now I have an excuse for a blast through there, nearly bought a house in Crawley Down!!
