Joes Roof is Famous
Discussion
Steve,
Where on earth did you get the pic of the cover of the March issue of Sprint in February?????
Don't tell me you have your copy already!!!
I never get my copy until at least halfway through the month of issue. Usually about 10 days after Han!
All praise to Joe for his roofing job, and getting the article to print.
Andy, as you know, I've submitted the text of the Tour de FranSe write-up, but still waiting for a response re using some of the photos. ( copyright issues
)
Hopefully I'll get the permissions soon...

Every month I post the cover with a few notes about the content on the TVRCC Facebook page.Where on earth did you get the pic of the cover of the March issue of Sprint in February?????

We've been managing to catch up with the publication dates the past few months
so the magazine is already printed and should be at the distribution house today.
So hopefully you'll have you copy on or before the coming weekend.

Wow! I shall look forward to that David! We've been managing to catch up with the publication dates the past few months

I did try to go on Facebook back in January, but I had problems with it.
I managed to get my profile picture uploaded, but then it sort of filled all my details in incorrectly. It even said that I was educated somewhere oop norf. This is obviously patently untrue! Moi? Educated? They must be joking!

Then Jay Kay ( whoever he is ) wanted to be my friend.

When I tried to correct my profile details it all went completely blank and it won't let me on at all now
They must know me.....I'm not very good at this I.T. lark.

Although I think that picture on the front shows the original roof, because I haven't had the 8-spokes on since I did the conversion
Best photo we had of the car at a good angle - so it went on the cover (Pre conversion - yes
)… its the before shot with the inside being the after photos
We did the best we could elsewhere with the photos supplied.
Cheers Jon

Very many thanks Jon. I'm afraid the photos weren't that great. Mostly they were taken on low res devices for convenience, and just as reference photos. I'd never expected the roof to get the star treatment otherwise I'd have used my SLR. Hindsight is a wonderful thing
Thanks again.

Thank you. Yes, the bonnet is really annoying; thanks for mentioning it
