Yes. I agree about the bonnet shape. I was rather hoping there may be an old or damaged one around somewhere which could be used as a blank canvas to put my own cowl/bulge/air intake on - to clear the cossie engine. I can probably make a fair job of doing the same thing with my poor S3 bonnet, but with loads of other work as well !

I thought that I was going to get away with it too, then put nice new engine mounts on and the plenham just touches the bonnet on the driver's side! I have about 15mm in other places, including the coil pack, so could be worse. I reckon if I widen the existing bulge so it becomes symmetrical, that will sort it. I saw Mike Milane's bonnet at Burghley so have an idea what I'm aiming for. Lots of other work to do as well, so I'll post some pics when I get around to doing the job in a week or two.
