Bought this on Friday, it's been laid up for 4 years.
Sending off to Str8six on Monday for recommissioning and an mot, i will run it through the summer months and identify all the niggles. I plan to have it stripped and rebuilt during this coming winter.

Looks like a nice car - crazy for it to be laid up.

You'll find a great deal of advice and support (and a little occasional humour) on here - look forward to seeing the new purchase out and about.

Welcome to the fold. I know you'll enjoy your new V8S. If you can't do your own work, I'd recommend Bespoke Performance. Skippy & Graham there really know their stuff and understand the older TVR's.

Have fun thumbup

It's a very active forum for sure.

I'm trawling now filling my parts bin. Any tips? id like to replace lights/trim etc. when its being rebuilt.
Mechanically most parts seem to fairly easy to source, where to I look for trim and so on?

It looks like you have a rare intact pair of the original front indicator lenses. Take good care of them - they're in demand and no longer available.

I'm handy with a saw and hammer!
The mechanics will be entrusted to Str8six, the trim work by Dave the Trimmer.
I'm not sure what route I'll take with the body work.

I'd like to get all the parts ready, I did so on my last project and it saves delays sourcing the rare items.
