V8s exhaust manifolds -cone instead of the precat?

Hi all,

the topic of my first try wasn´t maybe specific enough - so I try it again...
I have posted about removing my precats from my V8s in another forum but there is one question left.
GreenV8s wrote me that the experts recommend fitting a non-reversal cone inside the collector at this point, instead of the precat. Does anyone have some information about the cones e.g. size, position etc.? Or does some drawings exist about them?
Please correct me if my grammar is not correct - I have to improve my English! :-)

I didn't see the ones that went into mine, but from the description they're slightly shorter than the collector and reduce down to about 2" diameter.

big end upstream, little end downstream, so gasses leaving the engine go down a 'funnel' shape.

Thanks for the information - I´ll give it to my locksmith, so that he can make me the cones.
Took a look at your homepage... Very nice V8s - specially the engine!
