Desperately need to check my gear box level but havent got a clue how to find the filler hole.

Also whilst im down there wheres the reverse light too?

P.s. completely irrelivent to all this but do Griff dials fit straight in as replacements for S ones?

If you're referring to the ford gearbox... I think the filler hole/plug is on the (passenger, I think thats on the left side of the car) side of the gearbox. I don't know exactly how high, but there should be a plug somewhere.

takes a while to fill up. I used a hose.

This is my gearbox on my garage floor...



...the reverse light is the wire at the back and the filler plug is the one with the allen key stuck in it.

PS. This is the ford type-n (9) gearbox from my 2.9 s3. I was recommended to fill in with automatic transmission fluid by the gearbox specialist that rebuilt it for me.
