and 2 weeks away from the TVR! been awake the last 28 hours so am gonna kip before I go outside and see what happens when I try to start her up!
Whilst Im napping (a quick flick back through the pages turned up nothing)... anyone got a link to the sprint article on the V8S?

without uttering the words Chimera and Sprint, was it really that ominous, guessing what article and magazine was going to print

Read the article and tbh, whilst I understand what Derek said I can't agree with him in the final ananolgy . OK the chimis the better everyday car,but seeing as most people buy them as fun second cars it doesn't stack up.
Funny he never said what size engine the Chim was, however it did have 500 wheels, which made the comment about similar performnce telling

Im contemplating changing name to ukMuG or similar
Frustratingly, TVR ownership for me (After 7 months and 15 garage visits) is still fraught with unwelcome suprises when parts take it upon themselves to backfire, akin to a wet fart in lederhosen, your smile is lost instantaneously, but a few pounds and new set of yfronts later the grins return, if a little sheepishly. Ive had to stop telling people my car is off the road... again. I suspect its the big fuse, possibly the alternator, so long as its never the big cheese (v8 thingy under lid) I'll just grin and bear it, get on with ownership enjoying the large potatoe pedal when it works. Speaking to the sprint editor, I thought I had him sold on the idea that a sensible conclusion may be along the lines of "Chim is more grown up all around, but the V8S offers what all S owners (even chim owners) agree is a more fun seat of your pants go kart ride" but sadly that train of thought never made it to print.
Possibly a biased review, considering he is buying a chim later this year
