New rear Lghts

Hi all , took advantage of the weather and fitted some RS turbo rear lights today . Whilst not being a big fan of clear lenses , thought they suited colour of car and looked better than the standard offering that shreiked MK 4 Escort . Fitted LED bulbs for the side and tail and also the rear fog . Are all pretty effective when swiched on .Took some pics then slammed boot down only to find i had a flat battery after playing with the lights ! , pushed car in garage in disgust will play again tomorrow as light was going !.

No, what you mean Phillpotwill just have to wait and see if i can get used to them too !

Not a great fan either. Followed behind a car fitted with these and it was a bit confusing. Get someone to follow behind you and see what they think.

Well the LED s are very red for the tail and stoplight plus the rear fog is good too . The indicators have the amber bulbs in which look proper too.

Willy Weir has fitted those rear lights on his S. I still can't make my mind up whether I like them or not.
They do suit his car's colour though, a sort of electric blue.

I suppose it would be boring if we all liked the same things.

Well like i said , will see if i can live with them too . Does look a bit pimped but really didnt like the standard offering.

I like Marmite, jury's out on these. Maybe a darker smoked set would suit.

I once had a Mk4 Escort as a reps car back in the day, good car for the job, but would have preferred a TVR with it's lights at the time (and still would)..

well got in the boot this morning, had to take reg plate light out to pull my fail safe cable, battery earth had become disconnected after putting carpets back !

well to be honest even armed with this "information " still not the easiest thing to do and i know were to look and what im looking for !, just hope other folks have a way out !.

Yes, I agree Darren, a set of smoked blue lenses would look good.

hi dont be put off every one is mift. cos thay havent got blue cars and we all know blue is best and fast i like my blue lights
