Oil Pressure - what's yours?

This is a quick straw poll for my piece of mind, so:

With a V8S at idle - what's your oil pressure reading?

From memory i believe it is just over 20 psi, hot at idle (could be more, not less), I will have a look if I get time tonight.

The pressure in my car is very dependant on the oil I use, temp and engine speed. I know it sits at about 50 psi with 15/50, cold at 2500 rpm.

seems to run at 30 psi. Less than 50 psi but more than the lower mark which I take to be 25 psi. I hope this is ok!

From what I have been told it should sit between 25-30psi when running and around 20psi when standing.

This is what mine is roughly anyway so I hope so?

IIRC its 1 approx 20ish at idle

When running its approv 10psi per 1k of revs

Thanks guys. As mine sits just above 25 at idle and just below 50 on a run my mind is now at rest.

The V8 is notorious for its low oil pressure. My Griff 500 idles at 20'ish and the serpentine engines don't vary much with revs. But for any V6 owners out there, if it drops this low you've either got a duff sender or a problem!

According to the gauge, my V8S oil pressure when warm is only about 20 @ idle.

I hear that is acceptable, I dont worry anymore
