I noticed yesterday why my clock loses time. When I turn my lights on it stops. I cannot think why I had not noticed before. The clock produces a tick comparable to Big Ben!! Serveral people have commented on the loud clock tick.

Of course as soon as the lights are turned off again the clock continues as though nothing has happened.

My initial feel is to leave it alone until something else goes unless anyone has come across this before.

Any suggestions?

Perhaps try checking both earthing points - most electrical problems on the S seem to end up being caused by insufficiant earthing.
