Drivers window switch S3

Hi,anyone have spare working drivers side window up/down switch as my switches innerds have given up on one side of switch.is it easy enough to raise window without switch by linking which wires and do I need passenger switch connected -are the two linked? Thanks dave

As of yesterday I seem to need one too....but don't fancy buying from Australia...one of these
