Just arrived home with my beautiful new V8S. I am completely and utterly, hopelessly in love with it. Had a wonderful drive back from the New Forest to Northampton and am grinning from ear to ear.

I've never seen Chris eat his dinner so quickly, he's gone straight out in her with the top down. Who knows when I'll see her again.

I AM THE HAPPIEST BIRD IN THE WORLD.

Big thank you to Rob Ingleby for putting up with my incessant phone calls and nagging, and an even bigger thank you to Peter for parting with such a splendid car. I'm sure you'll miss her but I'll take good care of her.

So, watch out Northants, there's another S in the area.

P.S. Where do I get my S Club T-shirt, book, pen, umbrella, badge ..... etc ?!

I did try to take some tonight, but its a bit dark.

The only photos I have got are those that Peter sent to me and I don't want to rub salt into his wounds by using them ....

oh, ok, just one then. I'll try to get some more piccies tomorrow if the weather is good.

Some of you guys probably know the car. I have a feeling it was at S Club Heaven last year as I think I saw it whilst browsing the photos of the event, but I could be wrong.

It's actually not too bad in the dry once you get your head round the monstrous torque. I think it's going to be great fun, and I'm starting to look at intercoolers and higher boost pulleys

Unfortunately its currently in bits having the new cam fitted and some spare baffles removed from the exhaust. Only been off the road for two days and I miss it already ...

Technically, due to the frequency and fraction of yellow light under heavy acceleration yellow is naturally the fastest, followed by green of course

Well done, congratulations good timing now that the weathers warming up too

Well by that theory, red is the fastest, given that it is at the end of the spectrum... making blue the slowest...
