True - but for the uninitiated, the outward appearance, or the under bonnet, gives no indication of the state of the chassis. It's not that long since "best in show" S-Club winners were in bits a few weeks later because the chassis had failed an MOT.

Chassis will need a look at if its not been inspected
But a fair price for one in its condition now

I accept that. I am pleased to say however that this 'best S1 in show 2015, continues to run well on its original (Ziebart treated from new) chassis! And that we had a ball in it in 2016.

The owner has sent me a pretty full set of chassis photos and it 'looks' to be pretty good. At least worth a trip to see it if you are thinking about it.

Bit disappointed with the engine bay pic though, doesn't look to have been lovingly polished under there. Silicone hoses though.

Once stripped it proved to be rotten!

Nothing beats a hand on inspection.
