A little while ago I came across these water filters and thought that's a good idea idea Water isn't too bad around here (kettle doesn't fur up that much) but it does leave marks on the car if just left to dry. I'm not a big fan of all that Chammying lark but at £100 I didn't rush out and buy one.

I twigged that these must be the sort of thing window cleaners use when cleaning with those huge long brushes rather than go up a ladder, so fast forward to a couple of weeks ago and found just the jobby second hand on Ebay for a far more sensible price smile


Filtered, mineral free water on tap ...................

Or you could just use the stuff out of your de-humidifier for free laugh

Mmm yeah, but at about half a cupful a week the car wouldn't get washed too often!

I feel guilty putting that stagnant smelly stuff on my garden, it certainly ain't going anywhere near my car! smile
