Gone to dig S3 out for summer,started ok,indicators have given up,hazard warning light on steering columm will light up but not flash? All other functions on lever work.

Probably just the flasher unit gone kaput?


readily available "standard" 3 pin flasher unit............ clicky


Possibly stuffed up behind dash to the right of the steering column, normally I'd say listen for the clicking but that won't work if yours is not working!

No, just reach up and pull things down till you find it

Could just be a loose wire either on the flasher relay or the switch.

There's a big "multiplug" goes onto the switch, worth giving that a wiggle.

Didn't get as far as flasher unit,cleaned switch,wiggled plug, came back to life,winter damp I think,new set of tyres now. Cheers for advice
