S1 Passenger Door Window Winder

I bought my first TVR, a 1988 2.8 S1 in June 2016. Been reading the forums on PistonHeads for a while but only recently signed up.

My question relates to the window winding mechanism for the passenger door which has stopped working. I have removed the door card and there appears to be cable spooling around - not good! I have not removed the mechanism but does anyone know where I can source a replacement mechanism or alternatively is it possible to repair the exisiting one?
