Well kind of...
What happened was :said in Jethro voice:
We were just about to set off on Holiday (1200 miles in a week) the other week and I gave our Freelander a check over and discovered no coolant ....head gasket had gone. No problem as the car is just over a year old and under warranty, so it was booked in and transported to the dealer workshops today (after some confusion with main dealer) but won't be repaired for nearly a month!
Anyway, to cut a long story short we now have a hire car under the terms of the warranty until the freelander is repaired and the hire company called to ask whether we would like a brand new Volvo V70 T5 estate, a new Ford Mondeo or a new Ford Focus.

Tax will only be started on the 1st of any month
No it's already SORN (trevor that is) he's been SORN over the winter but now we have a hire car to replace the poorly Freelander we won't need to de-moth ball trevor for a few days, no point in paying for tax for March as I'll only get one day of use after having paid for a whole month, seems a waste of money
Anyway, trevor will be out to play soon

Ive had mine (due to start 010405) for a week now
IIRC you can get a disc two weeks in advance )
