Lovely Mr BC has very kindly promised to unshackle me from the kitchen sink tomorrow (so he can have a boys night in watching dubious sci-fi) so I was hoping to take a trip down to the Ace cafe for the TVR meet.

Are any of you chappies going to be there ? Would be good to put some more faces to names.

Normally yes, but tomorrow - probably not as I've got the get ready to take the S to Spain and tomorrow night is the only time I have to get ready.

Roy might well be there though...?

Have a great time though.

Penny,
My V8S is still with Dom and Jamie in Coventry

....But next month I'd like to get to one of the Ace cafe meets - -and I might have the engine run in by then!! Yippee!

BTW Jeremy did mention your quest a month or so ago, as I did consider selling mine. Hope the car is going well. The weekend weather looks good for some roof-off hoons!

No, the new rear window will have to wait for the winter as the budget went on the new outrigger.

If Mrs BC's new toy used to belong to RubyV8S, it used to live just around the corner from me.

Hi Nick,

So that was yours that I spotted at TVR Power when I took the Cerbera in last week then. Looks like its the same colour as mine (or very close anyway). My little boys got very excited and said "look, there's mummy's racing car" and wanted to go home in it.

Yes, the car is going very well thanks. I absolutely love it. Just working on the husband now to persuade him we should take it to Le Mans instead of the Cerbera.

Hope you get your car back soon.

Yup, that's the one. There must have been a very high density of TVRs where you lived, I think Brioss said it lived near him too ! Your neighbours must have loved you lot !!

Roy, your S has obviously been teaching mine bad habits - outrigger needs repairing and now the rear screen is tearing. Must have parked next to yours on too many occasions

Penny,
I've arranged through Jeremy to tie up with the Northants Massive for Le Mans. I'll be going in my V8S, along with my daughter - -who is another TVR nut.

So - if you do take the Cerby, you can have a go in 'Tabitha' ....Mind you I've heard they get jealous!

Ah, that's why they moved!

Adam - see you tomorrow. Meet in the Posh Bar (top front of the ship, near cinema).

You should get your priories right don’t go to the wedding tomorrow (it will be too much of a rush) and go to the Ace tonight, leaving time to pack tomorrow morning. You know it makes sense.
