In prep for Ssskortland I'm wondering about replacing my clunky scatnav.

Any specific model recommendations that work with ITN files and a MacBook?

I picked up a TomTom Go5100 for £199 in April. Live traffic updates, compatible with itineraries, etc. All good so far.

Or for less £s you can get one of the original reconditioned units direct from TomTom wink

I am going to have to manage with a 2104 TomTom 4EN52Z1230 if I can?

Will you be driving a Delorean? Hopefully the route files I'll be sending will be compatible with 2104 device! hehe

If that is a TomTom Start25 it will not do Itinerary Planning ;-(

I can borrow a Garmin Nuvi 56LMT from my father in law. Anyone know how I tell if the itinerary files will work? If not I'll just get it early and test if I can get last years files loaded!

GPX files will be available for Garmin. Although I am not a Garmin specialist , I know they have a lot of custom settings which influence the planned route. Make sure "recalculate" is off !

Hmmm, you might be right, TomTom have the most confusing model range numbering! Might see if the pension will run to a better one.
