scratchchin Hmm. From Malaysia: Estimated delivery 3 - 4 weeks?

Furniture Clinic do a flexible filler repair paste for just that sort of thing.
Probably a tad more expensive though.

Have a look at the very bottom of your seat and see if there is a little of the bead which isn't seen. Razor a tiny bit off and trim it and superglue on. Use brown felt tip of shoe dye to tidy up the trimmed bit.
Never tried it on a seat but done it on other restoration work (want a vintage suitcase or handbag anyone? OK,OK no jokes needed!)

Thanks for the tip, I'll give that a try. The colour doesn't show too well in the photo, the vinyl is actually black.

I am in no way colour prejudiced at all Joe, but that it does look a very browny black!

Well you're not having the black, I mix that with the white for my grey seats wink

Black is easier! No problems colour matching with a little boot polish!

I will try my level best Glen to ensure Percy's seats are not 'browned'!
