The NEW Alternative Parts List lists Bosh PN 0-580-254-911. I've picked up one today at Blenheim with PN 0-580-254-911. The outlet is different, banjo as opposed to push on, but is that the only difference?

The model of 'S' isn't specified on the APL so I'm assuming the same pump is used on all models. Is it?

I don't have an OEM pump handy but my notes say it's Lucas FDB702/Bosch 580-254-911 for the V6 and Bosch 0580-464-055 for the V8S. The V8S one has a plastic spigot at each end, don't remember what the V6 one looks like..

I believe the Chimaera/Griffith fuel pump is same as V8s? I have part number Bosch 0580 464 008 in my "little black book"

The V6 engined S series cars use banjo fittings inlet and outlet (different thread sizes).

There are numerous Bosch pumps that will most probably do the job, aside from minor differences like connection sizes

Like this (my Eurotour backup)?

Looks like I have a V6 one then which will probably also fit the Tasmin. Although the banjo fitting can be unscrewed and replaced by a push-on fitting so I can probably use it as a back up for either car assuming output pressure is the same.

I think you've bought a pump for a 2.0 litre Granada/Sierra?

Big hose barb inlet, banjo outlet? think most stuff from around that age runs about 3.0 Bar pressure so should be fine.

Handy back-up, as you say, for the wedge. Sort out any fittings/adaptors now, not when you're broke down somewhere on a Sunday evening wink

The OEM pump on my V8S had spade terminals, not screwed. The plastic outlet spigot in your pic looks right and although I seem to remember seeing a plastic inlet spigot I suspect you're right that it was metal and integral to the body.

The Bosch pump 0 580 464 040 on my S2 only had the banjo on the outlet. The filter had 2 different banjos.

Yes, my mistake, meant to amend it this morning but forgot, was confusing with the filter which, as you say, is the one with banjo's both ends ....getmecoat
