S2 for sale Northants

Ebay listing just appeared. Car looks decent but the owner doesn't know his S that well. Listed as an S2, which it appears to be from age and reg etc, but he has listed as a 2.8. No engine pics so I have asked him to add engine pics and confirm engine. Appears to be asking reasonable price subject to viewing of course.

Hmmm, came back to me, said I was right and that it was a typo! If so it was in twice! Why do I not have a good feeling about this one?!

The seller's business address is in Gt. Yeldham, Essex, which is not far from Barry.
Quite a long way from Brackey...

He's now amended the engine details. Apparently it's the 2.9 Capri engine.

Oh, and it's a "getting for 30yr old 1991 'G' Reg S2"


Apart from the rear stance issue, it looks like a nice clean car with intact original indicator lenses, shiny gear knob and handbrake handle and a very photogenic dash.
It looks like somebody has cared for it. Worth a look I reckon.
