Dark green S spotted on roundabout at Southampton Airport junction of M27 at about 07:50 thismorning. You got my day off to a good start - the sight and sound of a TVR is a real tonic at any time of day!

Anyone here?

Not me - weather forecasters called rain so the S stayed tucked up in the garage and the tintop took the run into work. Nothing but unbroken sunshine ALL day

Mmmm, but that tunnel along Stoneham Lane with the hammer down in 2nd gear.....

Maybe tomorrow

Not me either....I was at work!
Had the roof down coming home though.

SOTONS2 - I live over near Hythe. There is another V8S out at Wellow - someone new to the fold, I believe.

Sounds good. When are you thinking - the Bank Holiday w/end? Haven't got the social secretary to hand so I'll have to agree in principle!

Yes, thats me. I look forward to a pleasant run through the New Forest - not too sure when though as I'm hoping to have my wheels refurbished and re-shod soon. Bank holiday weekend is a possibility though.
Andrew.

I'm up for a new forest run on the BH weekend although I have wedding on the Saturday and commitments Sunday morning. Could possibly arrange to meet up with the rest of yoy after lunch somewhere?

Talking of wheel refurbs - I've just had my wheels refurbed and new tyres fitted up at Micheldever. Fantastic! Worth every penny.

Hope to see you all soon.

I've exchanged emails with Neil (SotonS2) and we are both ok for a leisurely run thru' the New Forest next Sunday afternoon (Bank Hol w/e).

I'll drop you, nawarne, and claire an email to arrange a meeting place and time (suggest about 3:30). I'm keen to see your refurbished wheels too.

I'm quite new to this forum, having just bought an S3. I'm in the Southampton area and would like to come along (providing its not throwing it down!)

Hi Jon,

Nice one mate - the more the merrier.

Claire, Shnozz and I live fairly close (Hedge End / Netley) and are probably going to meet up beforehand and head to the Forest together. Whereabouts in Southampton are you ? Maybe we can meet up on the way.

Likewise on the rain mate - the old girl stays safely tucked away if that's the case.

Will keep in touch later in the week,

Neil

Blame the met office if it rains

The credit has to go to DarkMatter for sorting this out - I've done next to nothing.

Looks like being at least 8 of us so far. A bundle of V6s & V8s should raise an eyebrow or two amongst the Beaulieu blue rinsers...
