No probs. I'll have one laying around while I refurb the chassis in the next few months, depends how desperate you are for dims.Damian S3
You just remove four of the black dome-headed backplate bolts, and put some longer ones through the new mount (it's based on the Sierra Cossie one really). There are four little spacer tubes too.

Fancy making one for me? No hurry assuming the other one holds together? I could then Pop down for the fitting ? I think it'd take a surprisingly long time to make from scratch (for a business) but happy to help as I can. You could hunt down the original Ford cast item, but I'm guessing there's a reason TVR didn't use those on the V8S.Thanks

Fair enough.. I think the front mounts are soft so will replace with poly to take some of the strain off the rear mount and see how it goes.. I think I've put better quality bolts in the back too
Oh and I think I've cured the miss fire that caused it in the first place.. or at least was the proverbial straw that broke em. I guess it's possible one has been broken a while.?
V8 TT Alan I hope you have something very strong as you must be 200bhp more than me.?
Cheers

The fronts are actually quite hard, unless you've got some of the early Tasmin versions fitted? They were void bushes, rather than the solid type. I'd go poly too, but then the energy will only transfer onto the rear mount more, so you're probably barking up the right tree in upgrading it.

) I was told took the same bushes as an early griff diff mount - so it could we worth doing some digging you may get the part complete.
