I can see the advantage in that you can drop them your old chassis and have a new one the same day, but I would rather refit the original chassis that came off my car, even if I had to wait a month.

In reality, there are loads of other jobs to be getting on with, so if you are just doing it in your spare time, you wont be ready for the new chassis for a month or so anyway. Clearly, this wont apply if it is in a garage being worked on full time.

I can see the advantages of that. It should help those guys who cant really do the refurb themselves and encourage the restoration of another S. Good luck to them.

DG Sportscars are also manufacturing and selling brand new fuel tank cradles, in primer for only £200 inc VAT

Regrettably their efforts with the tank cradle are unlikely to be worthwhile, TVRParts have it listed now, and for a good deal less.
