I've just rubbed down the chassis and body brackets in the rear arches and coated everything with Isoflex which is applied by aerosol and is just like waxoil to spray but dries as a thick rubber coating.
Should give good protection to those exposed chassis parts that are vulnerable to stones hitting them and cracking ordinary paint.
Isoflex is available from all good DIY stores.

Only half naked, the bottom half,
Well if you stand the car up on its boot!
I started the job last year cleaning all the surface rust off then i treated it all to kurerust.
I just never got round to painting it all.
I thought I wouldnt drive it if it snowed and there was salt on the road :no no:
But I did
All looks ok and I will have it done before Le Mans, Its gotta look perfect for that!
Me dads just painted the chassis on his griff, about seven coats lol

Was it this stuff you used, surely it acts just like underseal, the rubbery (no jokes!!!) feel, ooooer! is much the same as certain other bitumen sealers and would tend to trap moisture behind it with inevitable results. I would prefer sticking to waxoyl ![]()
That's the one, use good paint and underseal first and then coat with Isoflex.
It does dry as a thick flexi rubber coating and doesn't dry out and flake off like underseal does. The reason I used it was because the stones hitting the chassis and inner arch will just bounce off.
