Connectors - Ford ??

Had a problem with my speedo a while ago and it ended up the connector under the car. Also just had a problem with the fuel pump and also turned out to be the connector under the car. I went to my local motorist discount store who said they were only availible from Ford, but when I went to the local Ford dealership they said they were not available. They said I should try a scrap yard!! I know I could change them for something different, but it would be nice to keep the to the original ones it possible. Feel free to call me sad !!

If this is the big block connector under the dash then this is a weak point. They have a tendency to melt. I think they were originally off a transit van.

Most people have either replaced them with more robust ones or used individual in line connectors.
