a few parts need purchasing

Hi, doing some work on the s3c next week. Gotta buy rocker cover gaskets, alternator belt, oil filter. I take it that i just take my engine number to ford and they will be able to provide the parts. Just not sure if the alternator belt will be the same as the granada?

Oil filter is not same as on Granada because of space between engine and body Use one of the following:
Coopers Z501, Fram PH2854
Crossland 547, Unipart GFE 264
Part number Rocker cover Gaskets is 1651474

Do you think ford can obtain the oil filters that you listed or have i got to look elsewhere. That was a good link of the alternative parts but it says the manufacturer and a part number. Doesnt say where to obtain them.

You should be able to get the Unipart one from your local Partco. This is "Partco Ltd. Unit 25 Bridgemead, Westmead Ind Estate, SWINDON, WILTSHIRE, SN5 7YT" . If not then any local motor factors should have something that suits
