non standar exhaust tail pipes

I am having a new exhaust built and put on the car next week... Not replacing the manifolds yet but replacing everything else in 404 guage stainless steel.

As it is being built I can have a choice of what the tail pipes look like...

Should I stick with the way it looks now or go for straight pipes.... keep them the same width apart or go wider apart... any thought or picturs of non standard pipes.....

I like the wide spacing, as on a V8S. The metallic red V6 "S" in this picture has wide spacing and looks very nice. It belongs to "Ali B".

My V8S (the white one in the picture) had chrome trims with a straight cut end fitted by the original owner, but I think they stick out too far and look a bit like a "Carlos Fandango" addition! They would be better eith bevelled ends.

Changing the subject, but does anyone know where to get some lightly smoked rear light clusters from (like the ones in the photo above, second S from the back of the pack). All the one's I've found are far too Max Power / "dropped off the back of a Lexus" for my taste!

I think I'm correct in saying that the GReen S3 with the Tan interior there has the V6 tail pipe option but with V8 sized Pipes.

Can you get the rear V8 style tail pipes made up by ACT? Also the wider bore pipes on the V6 what is the sound like? I am in need of a new exhaust and still unsure of what to go for. Any pointers would be welcome.

see my thread re voting for tail pipes... I am having the exhaust made and I am going to have the tail pipes made in 2 1/2 inch stainless (the V6 is normally 2 inch) and having them wider apart. Will let you know the sound at end of week!!
