Newbie saying HELLO

Hi guys, this is i hope the first of many posts i will be making on the S series forum. I dont currently own an S but am planning to invest in an S2 some time next year.

The point of my new thread is not just to introduce myself and say hello to all S series nuts but to ask for some advice. I would like to know of any useful websites with general and specific information on the S series and companies that sell standard aswell as modificational parts etc etc.

I think that should be www.tvrsseries.com by the way... Colin's (Pies) very informative site about all things S - also links to what other parts fit, etc.

also www.tvrcarparts.com - they bought a huge stock of S parts and can get anything, almost.

LOL at JONZO, Sadly i dont actually own an S yet im gathering all the information i can get before i take the plunge and purchase one next year ready for next summer.

Hi Steve, I recently bought an S3. I also was supposed to wait a while (until I finished the bathroom and put my MGB back together abd sold that) however I took the same route as you asking questions and reading before looking at any cars. That part of the research doesnt take too long as this site alone is packed with info. Do the reading look at some cars and get one bought you wont regret it 's all the way..

p.s. I havent finished the bathroom or the MG yet but love my S

Hi, I live in St Athan and I am pretty new to the world of the S, if you have any questions then just ask, I may not have the answer but the people on here are very helpful and seem very willing to help out. Good luck with your search for your tivvy, you wont look back.

Lots of useful information to help you when you are looking at cars and to explain some of the idiosyncracies of TVR manufacturing and model designation.

If you can get up to Silverstone for SCH3 you can look around just about every variation and talk to a lot of knowledgable people about what they are like to own and drive.
