At long last I am now the extremely proud owner of a gorgeous BRG S3, I don't think I've stopped smiling since picking her up (or finding excuses to go out :D)

Just a couple of quick questions for all you experts out there...

1) What is the best adhesive to stick the velcro which holds the roof down back to the body, its starting to come away at bit by the doors

2) I've read in the Bible that Ronseals waterseal is a good product to use on the roof. Mines in pretty good shape colour and clean, it just needs reproofing. Has anyone experience of using it?

I've just done mine with Fabsil (canvas waterproofer for tents etc etc) - worked a treat in some of the recent deluges - no leaks at all. Water beads just off. Thomsons also comes highly recommended. Do a search if you haven't already.

Evostick impact adhesive remains flexible and is very strong.

Mask the paintwork around where you are bonding first and also leave the surface to be glued apart after coating them for about 10 minutes then slap the velcro on and it'll be there forever!

Make sure the roof is dry,clean and as dust free as far as possible. Then it does exactly what it says on the tin.
