Dash Shimmy and Squeek!

I'm sure this willbe another 'they all do that sir' posting, but I've got a really annoying squeek from behind the front of the dash. It seems to be in the vacinity of the heater control sliders. The dash does move noticably over bumpy ground relative to the tunnel console. Before I start ripping it all out has anyone had similar and have any tips to pass on?

That sounds serious.
I had a squeek from just above the passenger seat. At very high speeds this turned into a definate whine and eventually became a high pitched shreek under very aggresive cornering.
It was easily fixed but was quite costly. It needs to be paid for on a continuing basis.
I bet divorce will not sort your noise though!!
