S Club Leicester Forest East Convoy...

Morning all,

Anyone heading south for S Club fancy making up a convoy at Leicester Forest East as per last year?
What sort of time's anybody thinking?

Hi Adrian

I am willing to co-ordinate meeting places & times from Wetherby to Silverstone. Here is last years as a starting point :-

"Right then, how about Ferrybridge at 8.30am, then A1/M18/M1 meeting at Leicester Forrest East at 9.45 to 10am. Then Little Chef outside Towcester at 10.45 to 11am. Mass drive into Silverstone"

Happy to add places to accommodate others.

I'll be at Wetherby at 8.00, then Ferrybridge about 8.30 (Chris, Colin will you be there?). Anyone coming from further up north?

I will be camping at Silverstone following the LMES GT's on Saturday.

I'll happily drive the couple of miles from the circuit to meet at the Little Chief at Towcester for the opportunity to arrive at Silverstone "in style"!

Yes Derek tell Roy 8.30 as per last year.

Be carefull between junction 21 and 20 as there are speed cameras that measure you over a distance through the road works. The limit is 40.

Any chance of a stoping at the Watford Gap services? I'm coming down the M54 and M6 from Telford, so LFE will be well out of my way. If not, I'll be happy to meet at Towcester.

I am coming down from cumbria. Will try to get Wetherby for 8am. Possibly a 2hour run from here. Where in Wetherby because I not know it at all.

Hi Tony

If you take the exit after Wetherby (Tadcaster / Boston Spa) turn left at roundabout, at the bottom of the slip road on the corner of the first exit is a hard standing area (entrance to a field). I will meet you there at 8.00am. Mail me if you want my mobile number.
