Throttle linkage

One very interesting thing that came out of this session at Steve Guglielmi's place, was that they have developed a different throttle linkage slide that gives a much more progressive throttle, rather than the lineal throttle we all have at the moment.(I presume S2/3 only

I have ordered one for my car and I will post on the diffence and possibly ask about volume purchasing for you lot, if it works as well as they say.

BTW it was developed for the hill climb car.

Have just had one fitted by Steve's gang at Guglielmi, it makes quite a difference. There is no longer any lag when changing up gears that I used to get, and the car seems more responsive. The only downside is that it makes the car a bit jerky in traffic. So just stick to the open roads and u will be fine

Are you as impressed as me with SG and the lads because IMHO they are brilliant and I am very upset with you Midlanders for keeping him to yourselves and not telling us about him before.
The only reason I found out about him was because he is pally with the R&D man at GAZ.

Steve and the lads (Dave and Wayne) down at Guglielmi are great, they sorted my S2 a few months ago when the big end went, they are always helpful and know a lot about S's, infact Dave has an S2. You have to book early though these days, they are really busy
