Will have a look this evening. Even so I am sure that they would wriggle by saying that the exhaust has been grounded and therefore damaged and not covered! I did speak with Richard Moore at Moore Racing yesterday and he was explaining that the square box is fundamentally flawed due to the heat expansion/contraction. He has seen no end of these boxes rewelded for them to fail shortly afterwards. The best way forward is oval and suggested Simpson Race Exhausts in Slough for some modification. I've since found a guy in Kettering who will split the box and repair. If all else fails, baffles will come out and a cork put in one of the pipes if not enough back pressure.

Silencer box now being rewelded. On opening it up was pleased to see that all the baffles are stainless and rock solid. However there was a random piece of baffle mesh floating around in the bottom.
Don't know where it came from but it ain't there now! Was sorely tempted whilst in there to "loose" a few bits for extra tunnel impact.
