throttle pot

Just fitted a new Ford throttle pot today, cost me £55, all in, pot with connector.
boy oh boy, what a difference it makes, smooth on the pick up, I can now change down before a corner and floor it coming out without any hesitation from the engine at all, its an absolute peach, and the grin is even bigger!!!

reminds me to go back to the breakers yard i found two weeks ago with the granny engine.... all sensors still attache d... will offer them £20 and see what they say...

Made me think - my current TP is now over one year old!! It's the longest time I've had one after the previous 3 in 9 months.

Must be the drier weather.....

Nice one bruv, glad you got it sorted and you sound dead chuffed. Sorted my valve clearances today sounds like a swiss watch now, also I reckon its a bit louder at the tail pipes now.

nah, you need a brown bomber, goes like **** off a shovel, and sounds like 15 curries in one night whilst stood in front of a candle!!

Is that a fork andle, andles for forks!! Yeh brown will do, as long as it sounds nice and puts that grin on your face.

My Cerbie TP is now on its third trouble-free year but I am sure it has never had the lively pickup it had with the original Ford unit. Need to change back methinks.

HAd my S2 for 3 1/2 years and had no problems with the throttle pot. Pure luck oif the draw I guess.
