Is the throttle cable common to the S1 through to the S3?

Yes it is they all have the same plenum and throttle linkage. Parts listed at this site

Im not so sure they are the same,i recall people on here having difficulty getting an S1 cable

S2 and S3 have the same cable but S1 is different.

Has a different connection at the engine end, not sure about the pedal end.

My S1 has a small ball on the top of the pedal which the cable fits onto.


The cable listed on spare parts is for the 2.9 engine. I haven't yet managed to find one to fit the S1.

I beleive them to be different. Suggest you try David Gerald in Inkberrow, he supplied mine for my S2.
