A good day out at SCH3
Discussion
Excellent day and some fantastic cars. Our hoon was a bit comical too, i think some of the local villagers didn't know had hit them. Farmers also seemed to want to join in the fun along the way.
I had to leave early to pick up some ATF, so I thought I would get the first post in.

Just got back....
Packing for China now...
Great day, echo the thanks and the Hoon dis
organisation.. Well done to all the winners..
There were far too many Polo shirts left over for my liking... All those who pre-ordered and didn't pick them up or failed to make it please contact me...
There is still every size spare and a few caps..
Remember no money is being made from the shirts, all is covering manufacture and the extra going to the charity...
KOFF UP
Cheers
Dave

Dave, glad you all enjoyed the day, shame I missed out!
I will mail you my address, would you mind sending the shirt when you get back from your trip meanwhile if you mail me your address I will send a cheque for the shirt plus postage.
Regards
Ray
Yes great day thanks to all that braved the weather and came along, we had 89 cars there at one point when I counted?
Least said about the hoon the better I guess, although people did still have a good 40 mins out blasting around the countryside so wasnt a total loss. The two locals that arranged the hoon were watching the racing, I wasnt told about the small venture thro town which is where we lost most of you at the traffic lights? The actual hoon route was great though the few of us that drove it enjoyed it.
Glad a few of the regular PHers won a prize or three and I will be posting a thread a little later listing the winners etc........
Thanks again again and see you all sometime soon. Now we will have to start planning the Xmas raffle???

Thanks everyone for a brilliant meet - and especially Derek and Mike for organising it all and Dave for doing the polo shirts.
The South Mimms convoy in was excellent - and we all managed to stay together almost all of the way. The Hatfield tunnel noise was awesome.
We left early to go an watch the racing - but I did manage to take a load of photos of you all leaving for the convoy. I was the madman just after the roundabout by the exit. Didn't have time set the camera up for anything other than 'auto' - but I will post them shortly for anyone who's interested.
Oh, and this won the GT race for those who went on the hoon-
Until next year...

I stopped by today aswell (well.. 3 times actually - it was too cold sitting down inside Silverstone!)
Good turnout of S's the most i've ever seen.. its close between an S1 or a Wedge for my 1st TVR I think
The Sag was a beauty, and the first close-up i've got of the LNT T400R and got to meet a few PHers aswell..
If anyone wants to upload any photos of SCH3
You can do it below... this link will take you straight there. It's Free!

Thanks!
Dave.
I accept full responsibility for the extra couple of miles at the end of the hoon.... but as I didn't have a clue where I was and no one to follow at this stage at least I found dual carrageway
Although if we had gone straight back on the proper route we would have missed the rain
Great turn out considering the weather....

Top day! Nice to put some faces to the PH names.
Awesome to see so may S's in one place, ooh that noise
through the (hatfield?) tunnel on the way up.
Also the added bonus
of winning the GAZ shocks that I desperately need to stop my exhaust dragging up the road (thanks Derek for letting me take a pair of rears!).
Cheers

, to the people who made this meet possible. My first meet and despite the weather and waking up in my tent in a puddle
, it was great! Nice to meet people and put names to faces, also the hoon? got a bit on video, a bit shakey with the bad roads but o.k. Thanks again for a good weekend.Gassing Station | S Series | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
