roof location pins??

hi its graham again

thanks for all ure help ppl, shall get bak to some of you.

im gettin my s3 roof recovered at hoods galore in essex but have found that the eight locating pins (plastic covered metal wedges) front and back of the removable roof have rusted like theres no tommorow!! splitting the fibreglass roof as they expanded over the years. Are new ones of these available or has anyone got over this problem?

They are available but you may have to ring around several of the TVR suppliers to get hold of 8.

They are refered to as roof lugs, Try David Gerald, Tower View and TVR Car Parts for starters.
