Welcome HP. The good bits too many to list, just seeing it sat there, every time you turn the key and it barks into life, reaching the first corner at speed, powering out of any corner, powering it off the line wherever.
The bad bits, turning the engine off, having to use the shed, barge, bus or tank while it sits there waiting for it's next thrashing.
No I've got it wrong I'll just go and check it out again, oh damn it's off the road well and truly foxed (see my thread) that was four hours ago and I'm missing it already

i'm driving up to the NEC in the lotus and the seller is driving up from suffolk
so with luck it's goodbye expensive but cool lotus and hello tvr which will doubtless be just as expensive to keep on the road but will be a new toy bringing with it all the fun that new toys do

well the horrible lotus is gone and now in it's place sits a much smaller,much more powerful v8 tvr
it drove back from the NEC ok
there are a few jobs to get sorted out but all in all no major problems
these things are an interesting driving experience
sort of lowered v8 landrover with better brakes
love the power
not sure about the chassis and suspension
but then it is 13yrs old and probably could do with new suspension by now
first job is get a manual and fix the spedo and fuel guage which seem to have a mind of their own
advice on the above most welcome

Re the fuel gauge it may be the sender.....here are some details

Re the speedo, there is a switch to the underside of the gearbox. Don't worry though, neither my rev counter or speedo work
