While at SCH3 at Silverstone a couple of weeks ago I saw a camera mounting fitted to a passenger seat headrest support on a dark coloured S - did it belong to someone on here?

Can you let me know what it is and where you got it from please 'cos I'd like one! I'm off to the Nurburgring in a mates Caterham soon and it'd be good to mount one on his roll bar if possible.

Thanks,

I think I know the mounts you mean. Check out this website www.b-hague.co.uk/camera%20supports%20systems.htm

Darkmater,

Thanks for the link.

Plenty to choose from - not sure which will fit on S headrest at the moment but all seem to be ok for the Caterham roll bar.

Cheers,

you need a clamp like this.
It's the one at the top of the page you need, dunno what it's like but looks like it would work.
Only £30.00

Hi

I think that was me you saw. The mount was from Maplin and it was my first attempt at videoing from the car (still editing the results).

This the one I bought but they have several

Next time I'm planning to mount it vertically on a horizontal strut between the two headrests becuae I'm hoping this will reduce the amount of shake.

Regards

Colin
