well the girlfriend went away for the weekend so i decided to start sorting out the little niggles on the V8 S that i took in part exchange against my lotus a month or so ago
i was going to find a garage to do the work but thought while i had some free time i would get stuck in
most impressed so far , the car has had lots of attention before by someone and even though it's only done 43K some one has put lots of effort into keeping it nice
these things are nice and easy to work on which makes a nice change for british sports cars
25hrs of work done so far probably another 100 or so to sort out all the bits and bobs
does any one know what ford the souround around the ignition switch stalks etc is off ?
mine is cracked and i need a new one

If you remove the surround on the inside you will see the ford part number

Just quote both part numbers to you local ford supplier job done (im sure its a two part job)

Previous threads have suggested it is as Mike first stated a Mk3 Escort item (with a bit trimmed off to make it fit) Unlikely be Escort 2 as that car didnt have the hazard lights in the steering column, they were on a swtich in the dash..
