V8S - Radiator-Thermostat
Discussion
Get a TVR one as the spec is very different. Range Rover ones lead to overheating problems. Dealer or independent.

Eh, anyone know where to source a new relay? Thanks
Thermostat? Oh I see, I had assumed you were talking about the (water) thermostat (on the front of the inlet manifold) but I guess you meant the otter switch (on the top hose). You can bypass the otter switch just by shorting the two wires together, this should turn the fans on. If it doesn't, there 's a problem with the fans, fuse, relay or wiring. Relay is a fairly conventional single pole make/break relay with standard pin-outs, just make sure you get one with a 40A current rating, not one of the lower rating ones. The pin-outs are shown on the outside of the relay so you can confirm you're getting an exact replacement.
Cheers,
Peter Humphries (and a green V8S)
